I am sick and tired of my dry erase markers drying out. Today on my trip to the local big box store I discovered dry erase crayons. This is genius! The package come with a little eraser cloth and a crayon sharpener on the back of the box. They work on my white board calendar and on my stainless message board. Has anyone else tried these?

Laundry Room- Lined Curtains
This is a tutorial on how to create lined pocket rod curtains. I am really not an expert sewer, but this is a project for a novice. The key is to cut straight lines, and IRON everything...This specific fabric is organic cotton twill, that has a really nice stiffness to it. It looks really great with a lined too!

A Day at The Vintage Garage
Today I felt like a kid in a candy store. I met up with my two girlfriends, and went to The Vintage Garage, located in Chicago's Uptown neighborhood. Here, vendors overtook the bottom two floors of a parking garage. The feel was definitely more vintage flea market with a focus on costume jewelry, mid century furniture, and finally tons and tons of 1950's and 1960's clothes. Here are a few of my finds:

| Sorry for the bad picture. But this dress was fun and flowy. It just fit really weird on top. |

| Super cute floral pattern a-line dress with drawn elephants. I loved this dress, but I couldn't breathe in it. |
